Principal's message

August 8, 2023

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for allowing the  Saints Peter and Paul School faculty and staff to educate your child for the 2023-2024 school year.  Choosing the right environment to educate a child during these difficult times is tedious.  The Saints Peter & Paul School is a Virgin Islands historical landmark established as an elementary school in 1924.  Due to overwhelming support, it was expanded to a high school in 1946 and graduated its first class in 1950.  Saints Peter & Paul School has educated countless Virgin Islanders who have led successful careers at home and abroad.

At Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School, we believe a solid spiritual foundation is central to every person's life mission and comprehensive development. We ensure that students master the unique skills that will empower them to be creative, productive and responsible critical thinkers who respect and appreciate our diverse community.

Looking ahead, we have made some critical decisions about the 2023-2024 school year and how our students will learn. We approached this work thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with an enormous sense of responsibility. We have elected to return to complete in-person learning for all grades

Your input is essential. As we transform, we are creating opportunities throughout the process for our parents, families, students, employees, and other members of our school community to participate in the development of a final plan that keeps moving the school forward.

Finally, we have upgraded our program to align with the promised 21-century learning model introduced in the 2019-2020 school year. We have completed the renderings, We have received equipment and we are now moving on to Phase II, which is the initial fundraising and the build-out and equipping of our Model Classroom.

We will keep you informed of our thinking along the way. I also encourage you to continue the registration process to make the re-opening on August 14, 2023 seamless. Thank you for your continued support.

Yours in Christ,
